UI Design

The main goal for developing a user-centric online solution or application should be to allow end-users to get to what they are looking for in as few steps as possible. The end user does not want to have to spend more than 1-2 seconds finding what they are looking for. In addition to simplicity, its important that the interface looks well branded and professional. It must fit the requirements of the business’s target market, ie: trendy vs traditional.

A typical custom user interface design project involves a combination of user testing and analytics, requirements gathering, wire frames and use cases, user flow diagrams, mock ups, and implementation with standards-driven technologies such as XHTML/CSS and design and development software.

I implement attractive user-centric designs that make complex scenarios seem simple. I have worked with multiple user types in one platform. I focus on designs that are highly conversion / call to action focused. I can design for both front-end customer user interfaces as well as administrative platforms.

Praise

“If I could clone Ariel I would! After working with Ariel for the past 5 years, I continually find it refreshing to work with her. Ariel has been my webmaster for this entire timeframe and I hope she will continue for a long time to come. She is a go-getter who is able to pick the ball up and run; a self-starter able to provide direction and recommendations; and she is very efficient providing me much value for the work that she provides. I am frequently complimented on my website and I owe much of this to Ariel's ability to strive for the best possible results!”
